Basic urine examination, glucose, cholesterol (total), AST, ALT, GMT, blood count, FW - sedimentation rate.
Extended laboratory tests
Glucose, bilirubin (total), AST, ALT, GMT, alkali phosphate, cholesterol (total), LDL cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, triacylglycerol, basic urinal examination + urinary sediment, uric acid, urea N, creatinin, blood count + differential leuco-gram, FW - sedimentation rate.
Densitometry examination Examination focused on measuring bone density.
2. PROCEDURES FOR CURATIVE STAYS
MAIN THERAPIES:
Partial or complete mud pack
Thermal mineral tub bath
For healthy skin, well being, body toning.
Mud pool
Pool built right on the site where errupts 39C mineral water and mud is a unique experience for each visitor. The procedure takes 5-8 minutes and provides high benefits.
Parafango pack
Mud pack with paraffin applied hot on specific areas. The body experiences deep heat and relaxation. Beneficial for tense muscles, stiff joints, residual damages from injuries. Excellent before massage.
Underwater manual massage
Whirlpool, Underwater jet massage
Deep massage under the water with a pressure hose, done by a massage therapist. Muscle tension, cellulite.
Scotch Douche
An invigorating water jet massage with variable temperature and pressure levels which stimulates the circulation and relaxes muscles.
Whirlpool bath
Alternating bath of feet
Alternating temperature water jet bath: for improving circulation in the legs (excellent for tired legs).
Tub baths (pearl bath, carbonic bath etc.)
Carbon dioxide bath - The most important physiological effect of a carbon dioxide bath is the increase of circulation in the limbs and the improvement of the capacity of the heart.
Individual therapeutic exercise
Reflexology
Reflexology is based on an understanding that there are special maps on the sole of the feet which indicate organs within the body and so each organ can be treated and healed by pressing and massaging the appropriate area on the foot.
ADDITIONAL THERAPIES:
Classical massage
Muscle and soft tissue manipulation by hand to improve the circulation, relaxes muscles, reduces stress, relieves stiffness and soothes the body. May involve the whole body, face, neck or back as required.
Cervical/Lumbar Traction
Cervical/Lumbar traction is a mechanical device used to distract joints of the spine. This technique is used when disc problems in the neck or back put pressure on nerves or when the joints of the spine are inflamed and stiff. This technique can reduce pain and increase mobility local to the area of application. Real ambulatory traction means lifting upper bodyweight instead of spine. It will relieve much pain for the patients suffering also from muscle sprain, spinal stenosis, degenerative spondylitis, etc.
Subaquale Traction Bath
During this treatment the back, hip and knees will be stretched under pleasant circumstances in the warm thermal water.
Group kinesitherapy in a gym or pool
Treatment by motion
Fitness, walking school
Mechanotherapy
Our special massages reinforce biological and mental equilibrium, ease tension and promote muscular relaxation.
Ergotherapy
Electrotherapy
Electrotherapeutic treatments are effective by using the stimulating properties of a low-voltage electric current. They improve circulation, ease pains, stimulate metabolism and relax the musculature.
Ultrasound
During Ultrasound Treatment an ease of pain can be achieved by micromassage techniques and warming up of tissues. Overall effects are decreased pain, improved metabolism and congestion, released muscular tension and elimination of degenerative changes in muscles and bones.
Galvanic four-cell bath
The Galvanisation Treatment eases pain, stimulates metabolism and have a vasodilating effect. It helps to absorb medicaments into the problematic part of the body, thus avoiding to affect the whole body.
Interference currents
The Interference Treatments alleviate pains, improve circulaton and the metabolism of cells. They are beneficial to the musculature and nerves.
TENS (transcutaneous electric nerve stimulation)
Diminishes pain by electrically stimulating the skin with specific pulse frequencies which have been shown to increase the flow of natural hormones (endorphins, encephalins, dymorphins) and to consequently reduce pain. By using TENS technique chronic pains can be eliminated.
Magnetotherapy
Magnetotherapy as a therapeutic technique based on applying magnetic fields generated from coils and controlled in frequency and intensity, onto areas of the human body that are dysfunctional or ill. Pulsed magnetic field supplementation balances magnetic fields in and around the body results in significant sleep and recuperation effects, and substantially enhanced flexibility, strength, and stamina within just a few days; sharpened concentration, hand-eye, balance and motor 'synchronization' within just a few hours.
Diathermy
Diathermy is a deep tissue heat treatment. The temperature of the injured tissues is raised by high frequency current. Deep heat speeds up healing by increasing blood flow to the injury. It may be used after cold treatments when inflammation and swelling are gone. Deep heat may be used to treat chronic arthritis, bursitis, fractures, gynecologic diseases, and other problems. Like surface heating, deep heat is used to: * reduce pain * relieve muscle spasm * decrease soft-tissue contractures * resolve inflammation and * promote healing
Endodyn
Paraffin packs
Melted paraffin is applied to the affected body parts. The heat has a positive effect on arthritis, joints mobility and blood circulation. Paraffin gloves have a cosmetic side effect, leaving skin on the hands softer and finer.
Cryotherapy
Cryotherapy (literally "cold treatment") is also known as cryocautery. It refers to a method of treating abnormal cells on the cervix by freezing them.
Inhalations
Inhalations of microspcopic healing elements treats various respiratory diseases.
Rehabilitation swimming
Manipulation therapy
Is conducted by a skilled physician and is aimed at releasing blocked extremity joints and vertebras.
3. OTHER PROCEDURES
MAIN THERAPIES:
Partial mud pack
Body toning, muscles and joints discomfort.
Mirror pool
Bathing in the natural mineral water 39C hot in the first step releases muscle tension and in the second it benefitially affects inner organs. The third and final step is dry pack.
Mud pool + Mirror pool
Thermal mineral tub bath
Healthy skin, well being, body toning.
Hydrotherapy
Combination of 3 therapies of the following: Whirlpool bath, Alternative bath of feet, Scottish squirts, Pearl bath, Carbon-dioxide bath
ADDITIONAL THERAPIES:
Overall body massage
Partial massage
Group exercises in a gym
Group exercises in a pool
These special gymnastics restore the original function of the disordered part of the body by relaxing and strengthening.

4. EXTRA CHARGED PROCEDURES*
Manipulation therapy
Is conducted by a skilled physician and is aimed at releasing blocked extremity joints and vertebras.
Acupuncture LASER
LASER is a highly focused light source in the infra-red or near-infrared range which is used to promote healing of soft tissues. Following surgery, lacerations, or open wounds, this modality can ensure a good quality tissue repair. In addition, this light source is highly absorbed by nerves and can significantly decrease pain of nerve origin.
Gas injections
The hypodermic application of medical CO2. The gas is applied on accupressure sites. The therapy has anti-pain, anti-inflammatory and also relaxation effects.
Manual lymph drainage
Manual Lymphatic Drainage is an advanced therapy in which the practitioner uses a range of specialised and gentle rhythmic pumping techniques to move the skin in the direction of the lymph flow. This stimulates the lymphatic vessels that carry substances vital to the defence of the body, and removes waste products.
Oxygen therapy
Oxygen is administered by inhalation. The importance of oxygen therapy for many patients with heart and lung diseases is now universally recognized.
*all extra charged procedures except oxygen therapy must be prescribed by the physician. |
