Tour B1
Duration: 5 Days / 4 Nights

The best way to get to know the waterfowl of the Danube meanders is to put the canoe on the water, to sit in it and to let the water to carry you away. Black Storks, herons, ducks and divers are easy to spot. Ferruginous Ducks and White - tailed Eagles are perhaps the most valuable bird species of this region. After having left the water ecosystems and agricultural lands we will end up in wine regions of the Small Carpathians, where the tasting of traditional types of wine should prove to be a delightful (and may we add delicious) experience. Standing atop the surrounding mountains we will enjoy a spectacular view of the unique pine forests covering the sand dunes. We will take an exciting nature hike to the Moravia river floodplain forests and wet meadows.

Highlights:

Water Dam birds
The Morava river floodplain
Canoeing on Danube River
Pond birding
Field birds
Waterfowl
