The region of Small Carpathians belongs among the most attractive areas of ecotourism within Slovakia. At the same time it is the only landscape protected area with the winemakers character. Living in this region has been influenced by wine for many years. Development of the wine trading helped the spurt of Svдtэ Jur, Pezinok and Modra which were proclaimed as independent royal towns at the beginning of the 17th century. Relaxing hikes in nature, rich food and good hearted people still keeping traditions can all guarantee a great vacation.

A large size and wise architectonic solutions of the well preserved complex of cellars, make the Red Stone Castle even more attractive sight to visit. We will have a lunch in a traditional winemakers house in a tiny historical town of Modra which acquired its high reputation worldwide for its blue and white ceramics called "Modra majolica". In a local craft shop you can admire the craftsman painting on the newly made plate and buy the souvenirs for the best price.
