St.Georges Rotunda in Skalica ranks among the most beautiful Romanesque structures in Slovakia. Medieval fortifications, St. Michaels gothic church and a unique secession museum are only a few of the valuable relics reflecting various historic periods preserved in this town. The vintners are proud of their excellent Skalica ruby wine, and their wives_ sweet hollow cake. Stop at the confluence of the Morava and Thaya river and admire Greyleg Geese at Adamov Gravel Pits.
